Seattle Sound Transit's Latest Map
It looks like Seattle is really starting to look at getting itself connected. Social engineering aside, those of us that understand, like, and want to live with the inherent freedom of a car-less lifestyle is becoming a very real possibility for tens and possibly hundreds of thousands of Seatleians.
Check out the latest on Sound Transit ST2 Transit Package.
I find it interesting because at the moment, the only valid city to really enjoy this type of lifestyle on the west coast is Portland. San Fran is for the "rich" Democrat type, but in Portland even being a Libertarian, Republican, or other politically leaning person can come and live here comfortably. Seattle is another strong candidate when they get all of this system put together.
Now of only they would implement more of a pay per use economic model for these systems (and auto transit) we might actually reduce our fuel consumption and excessive transportation usage.
Thumbs up Sound Transit, keep up the good work.
